We hope everyone is staying safe and secure. With the downtime, all you writers and filmmakers can be getting your Indie Grants submissions ready. Applications are due June 22, with up to $35K and full production support to make your short film.

Created to support South Carolina’s production professionals and generate professional training environments for Trident Tech film students, Indie Grants shorts have been official selections at international film festivals like Sundance, Palm Springs, Austin Film Festival, FantasticFest, Cucalorus, Tall Grass, Slamdance, LA Film Festival, DragonCon, and many more.

Recent collaborators include Oscar-winning DP Russell Carpenter (Titanic, Avatar 2), actress Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect, Perfect Harmony), actor AJ Bowen (You’re Next, The Sacrament), DP Peter Simonite (The Perfect Guy, 2nd Unit DP on Tree of Life), and writer Brad Land (Goat).
