Jason Gourdine (born October 19, 1983) is an entrepreneur/filmmaker and owner of Crown Vision Media. In 2014, Gourdine made his directorial debut with his feature film Enter the Dominion. In 2015, Gourdine started Black Collective, a digital media platform, along with filmmaker Travis Pearson.

Gourdine was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, later moving to Moncks Corner, South Carolina. He is a 2001 graduate of Berkeley High School. Gourdine continued his education at Morris College, graduating Cum Laude with his Bachelors Degree in Business Administrations and a Masters Degree in Business Entertainment from Full Sail University. He’s also a fall 2002 initiate of the Lambda Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.

His first film, Enter the Dominion was filmed in Charleston, South Carolina and made its U.S. premiere at the Charlotte Black Film Festival, where it took home the award for Best Feature Film and distributed through Maverick Entertainment. Gourdine’s historical short film, Vesey’s Resistance, brought a resurgence to the legacy of Denmark Vesey, and his resistance army’s planned slave rebellion in Charleston, SC. On December 17, 2013, Gourdine’s hometown of Moncks Corner, South Carolina made a proclamation, celebrating December 17th as Jason Gourdine Day, for his achievements in Filmmaking. He is the 2017-2018 South Carolina Arts Commission Media Production Fellow and recipient of the 2018 Septima P. Clark Emerging Filmmaker Award. His current project HAANT, a Southern Gothic, Gullah Revenge Thriller, is his first studio film in collaboration with noted producer, Effie T. Brown (producer of Dear White People, Project Greenlight, Fox’s Star) and CEO of Game Changer Films.

Gourdine’s wife, and producing partner, Dontrell Gourdine, married in June 2013 and are the proud parents of Kingston and Princeton Gourdine.
