Board
Dan P. Jones
CFA TreasurerBiographical Info
Dan Jones has been working in the film industry for over twenty years, primarily in the camera department and has lived and worked in South Carolina for 26 years. Dan also has a degree in business and, prior to getting into the film business, worked in corporate accounting. He therefore has a good understanding of how to interpret numbers and statistics, including how those numbers and statistics pertain to the state’s film incentives. In addition, Dan’s run for state office in 2018 and his increasing involvement in politics means he is familiar with the political landscape of the region and the state.
Dan is excited about the opportunity to serve on the CFA board. The film industry is a high paying industry, provides excellent benefits, and has a low environmental impact, and he believes that a continued commitment to the industry in South Carolina is an overall win for our state.
