‘Outer Banks’ creator Jonas Pate will speak at Charleston Library Society

The Charleston Library Society will welcome Jonas Pate, one of the creators of hit Netflix series “Outer Banks,” which was filmed in the Lowcountry.

Pate will take part in a speaker series from 6-7 p.m. Oct. 21. He’ll discuss what it’s like to film in Charleston, have a career as a filmmaker and meet the challenges that emerge when creating a new show.
