As an actor, Charlie was cast in his first principal role as Officer Richards in Halloween (2018).
Patricia Glasser grew up on a farm between St. George and Reevesville, South Carolina and has lived in Mt. Pleasant since 1983. Patricia has been in the film industry for 25 years. She was going to be a background extra on “Scarlett” when she met the hairstylist – the talented Darlene Brumfield – who hired her to help in the hair dept. Patricia says, “I was in the right place at the right time.”
Patricia was personal hairstylist to JLC and Hair Dept. Head on “Halloween”.
JLC did not want to wear the wig, but the producers wanted her hair similar to 1978. After Patricia cut and styled the wig, she loved it. She and her family have lived in Mt Pleasant since 1983.
Heath Hood started out as a model in 1989 in Atlanta GA. By 1990 he was skipping school and working on films and TV shows anyway he could. He did extra work, had a few bit parts and did a few stunts on some really bad low budget shows before his parents caught him and shipped him off to boarding school.
Heath had worked as a stage manager, pyrotechnition and an alternate stuntman, when he was hired as Jarod Emic’s stunt double for “Andersonville” directed by John Frankenheimer which finally earned him a SAG card. Heath was the Special Effects Supervisor/Coordinator on “Halloween.”
Julian Lawitshka, originally from Miami, FL lives in Charleston. He started in the film business four years ago as David Gordon Green’s assistant, his position on “Halloween.” Julian is now a Creative executive at Rough House Pictures.
Vince Mattis is a South Carolina native and lives in Bluffton, SC. Vince always had an interest in the arts and did improv classes in Savannah, GA and Hilton Head, SC. At one of the Summer Camp performances, a casting director from Nickelodeon approached his father who was too busy being a single father to follow up.
Vince kept bugging his Dad for years and about one year ago, without any training and very close to the filming of Halloween, he finally found an agent in Charleston and started doing auditions. . His very first on camera audition was “Halloween” and Vince was cast as Son. He feels extremely lucky.
Since “Halloween,” Vince has played a role in The Dirt (Motley Crew Film) and a short film called Nomad Rambler.
