Hold the date – October 22 – for next General Meeting of the Carolina Film Alliance at the Crowne Plaza on Tanger Outlet Blvd from 3 pm – 6pm.

Hors d’oeuvres and cash bar will be available in this meeting, co-hosted by Amy Heath, Director of Tourism for the City of North Charleston.

Guest speakers will include our new lobbyists, Tomkins, Thompson and Brown.  They will give us an update on what we have accomplished so far.  Additional speakers TBA.

State Rep. James Smith, D-Richland and candidate for Governor of SC
Rep. Smith, longtime supporter of the film industry, will talk about the future of film/television production in South Carolina under a Democratic governor.

State Representative “Katie” Arrington, R-Dorchester is a candidate for the US District 1 seat (running against Mark Sanford in the June 2018 Primary) and is an enthusiastic film supporter.
